The new kid in school!
Well, I'm not really a kid anymore :( BUT I am one of the new teachers in school this year! New school and new room for me. I began moving my things in just yesterday and have 3 days of classroom access until the kids show up! This means quick action and organization. Good thing I have all those Pinterest boards to draw inspiration from. I have been making a daily list of things to get done at home too. Busy busy. I will post some before pictures shortly and some in progress pictures as I go :)

Welcome!!
Follow me on my adventure in teaching first grade! A little about me:
I live in the Midwest!
This is my second full year teaching :)
I have degrees in art and elementary education.
My husband and I will soon be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary.
I am a mommy to a 3 year old little one (who is starting school this year!)
I have two crazy doggies ( a German Shorthair and a Corgi) They are an odd pair :)
I don't eat meat.
I like to knit (sometimes), read (A LOT), and am a sucker for typography, color, and Starbucks Tea.
I hope this can be a space to share great freebies, creative finds, teacher fashion, classroom ideas, and some lighthearted frivolity along the way!
